Come & Stay With Us
In an open space surrounded by the river, wildlife reserves and mountains, close but away from the busy town of Archers Post, you will enjoy the peace and impressions of Samburu Dik-Dik Lodge, our little oasis in this semi-arid region. We are blessed by an almost permanent breeze from the river, where you can go and explore the surroundings, spot baboons, monkeys, an occasionnal crocodile, or even elephants.
In-between your day activities visiting Kenya’s Northern Frontier region, be it rock-climbing, trecking up Mount Ololokwe, game drives a National Reserve, visit to conservancies or Reteti Elephant Orphanage, the lodge offers a relaxing place to enjoy a dip in the pool, walk around, doze-off in comtemplation of nature, stay in touch with family and friend, or simply be. Choose from our different accomodations, rooms in Dik-Dik House or Susuk self-catering cottage; we have the perfect place for you to unwind!
Dik-dik House features 3 comfortable guestrooms with large windows, queen-size beds, ceiling fans, free Wi-Fi, wardrobes and private or semi-private spacious bathrooms with hot and cool showers. You have direct access to the shaded veranda where you can relax near the pool, and to the upper terrace for a stunning view of the surroundings. The large and welcoming kitchen is where the chef can prepare your meals and where you are welcome to sit for a snack, drink and discussion. Your stay includes access to the pool, which faces Shaba National Reserve.
